What is your warranty policy?

We do our best prior to dispatching your product to make sure it arrives in good condition and never comes back as a warranty issue. We understand the hassle of warranty claims and we aim to assess the problem, find a resolution and get you back using your product as quickly as we can. As with all warranty claims there are some things you need to know:

Our policy does not affect your statutory rights.

IYS does not warrant against failure or damage due to misuse such as, but not limited to incorrect installation, poor maintenance, abuse or neglect, using the product for something other than its intended purpose or altering the product in any way.

IYS does not cover general wear and tear of items.

After the initial 30-day period IYS reserve the right to replace any defective product under warranty.

Warranty is non-transferrable and applies to the original purchaser only. Proof of purchase is required with all warranty claims.

Usage during competitions or activities other than those for which the product has been supplied will greatly reduce its useful life and is not covered under warranty.

Costs incurred because of loss of use, as well as any labour charges are not covered.

If a replacement is not possible IYS reserve the right to offer an alternative of equal or greater value or a partial refund proportional to the remaining life of the product.

Always install, repair and use your product in strict compliance with the product's instructions; failure to do so might damage the products and cause a serious accident.

How do I make a warranty claim?

All goods purchased from IYS are covered by warranty and, generally speaking, warranties cover manufacturing faults and defects including poor workmanship. If you feel that your purchase has developed a fault, then please email us before returning any goods - we may be able to solve your problem without you incurring any postage costs.

  1. Write an explanation as to what is happening.
  2. Take some images of the fault if possible showing the issue.
  3. Email the images with the explanation to sales@inyoursights.co.uk.
  4. One of our team will be back you within 24 hours.
